A Heartwarming Tail - Prince Caspian
Several hundred years, or just one year in our time, have passed since the great Kings and Queens freed Narnia from the Tyranny of the white witch. After the Kings and Queens of old left Narnia, chaos soon ensued.
The tale offered in the second Chronicles of Narnia movie is both heartwarming and exciting, while still riddled with some missing parts. The drama starts from the beginning, and the ups and downs of the adventure keep things interesting. The movie, however, still fails to explain much about the old magic, or why Aslan did not stay to protect the Narnians. It's likely they're saving all this for a third movie, which is clearly in the works. The excellent graphics and stirring soundtrack also add to the overall feel of this movie.
We won't give away much of the story, however, but we will encourage you to see The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian at your local Iowa City theater.
