The Iowa Right to Life anti-abortion group is in the process of getting the ability to issue a state-legal license plate that will display the message "choose life" on them. This could actually happen before the end of the year in Iowa.
The Iowa Right to Life claimed that more than 1,000 people have expressed an interest in buying license plates that have a pro-life message on them. These are already offered in many other states, so the Iowa portion of the group decided it was time to get them in their state as well.

Iowa in general is very accepting to personalized plates, and a large percentage of Iowa residents have them already, which has helped the acceptance of the plates.
