Enjoying the great day, as rain looms about an hour away, a couple of youngsters play chess on the walk near the Iowa City Public Library using the built in life-sized chess board. The game was a great way to enjoy the day in downtown Iowa City, as temperatures hovered in the high 70s with no sun visible.
"We saw people playing last weekend at the Art Festival and had to try it," said Jennifer Comstock who was watching over the boys as they played.
The chess pieces are available for checkout from the Iowa City Public Library.
